How to prepare for your breast screen
Ensure you know the address of your screening location, including parking and public transport options.
Wear a two-piece outfit (you’ll need to remove your clothes from the waist up).
Let us know in advance if you have breast implants, a pacemaker, a family history of breast cancer, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Please note children of any age are unable to be left unaccompanied in reception or accompany you into the x-ray room.
Do not use powder, deodorant or creams on your body on the day of your breast screen as they can affect your x-ray.
